Money may not buy happiness, but it can certainly get you a plane ticket or two and that’s close enough. If I had infinite resources, I would probably be on the road most of the time. This is the reason why I love budget travel – it allows me to travel more… without ruining my finances completely! Mastering the art of accessible travel is not easy itself, but budget travel in a wheelchair poses even more challenges.

Luckily, I have years of travel experience on my side, and by now I know quite a few places, which are both wheelchair and wallet-friendly. Some of them are perfectly accessible, while others are acceptably accessible. Unfortunately, accessibility is yet to become the standard everywhere, but accessible travel on a budget is definitely not just a fantasy – it is within your reach! On the road again: Asian trip 2017!

Accessible travel: Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Bangkok. Wheelchair friendly travel, electric wheelchair travel

On the road, everything feels different. The air tastes like freedom, each cloud is a passing companion and an uncomfortable plane seat is suddenly a gateway to new universes.  Traveling is a bug: once you catch it, it’ll stay in your system forever. I’m simply hooked on traveling and exploring the world, so I am beyond excited to tell you about my new trip a little bit ahead of time… In 3 days I’ll be sitting on the plane to Bangkok where my trip kicks off. From Bangkok, I’ll head to Hong Kong and Singapore, come back to Bangkok, fly to Dubai and finally back home – to Warsaw. I have only two weeks for the entire expedition. Naturally,  I’m prepared for the intense sightseeing. I need to squeeze everything out of 336+ hours I’ll spend in Asia! What’s the plan? More it about below!

In a touristic paradise – Thailand (on a manual and electric wheelchair)

Thailand, Thailand, Thailand… every time I see the rating of travel destinations, Thailand’s somewhere in top 10. Overrated? Underrated? That was a question I asked myself back in 2010 when I decided to visit it. What did I find? A touristic paradise – and I mean what I say. Stunning landscapes, lively metropolises, sandy beaches? Thailand has it all! From the moment I set my eyes on the diverse mosaic of Thai world, I knew I would fall in love with the place.  Friendly people cropped up in every corner, and the word “accessible” was more than an empty promise, so manual and electric wheelchair users can enjoy it as much as I did.  What are the flavors of Thailand?
