Sunshine, lovely beaches, the Caribbean Sea and a perfectly blue sky – Dominican Republic has it all. I’ve never been a sun shy person, so when I visited Puerto Plata back in July 2006, I fell in love with the Dominican Republic. Puerto Plata’s located on the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, and it’s full of touristic resorts. I was there for two weeks, and oh my, these two weeks I will always remember!

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear Ireland? Good beer, Dublin, shamrock leaves, pubs, Saint Patrick? In my head, it’s probably some kind of mixture all of these, but the first word that comes to my mind would be: fun. I visited Dublin back in August 2004, and my trip was definitely the one to remember., even though I haven’t had an electric wheelchair those days. I had the best of all worlds: a bit of relax, a lot of fun and some sightseeing to explore the city. What I loved there, what was less than lovable, what’s worth seeing? If you ask me what I love, travelling will always be one of the first things I’ll mention. I’ve always loved it, and times have changed, but my love for travelling has never faded away. Now it’s become even easier than ever to travel since my Blumil electric wheelchair gives me more freedom with how practical and functional it is. It hasn’t always been like that.
Today, I would like to introduce you to my ultimate accessibility rating of travel destinations. Travelling with a manual or electric wheelchair might be quite a a challenge, but .. You have to know, I’ve never been the one to resist a promise of adventure. Travelling has always been my cup of tea, and nothing has changed that. I’m not a person who believes in limits, but I am a great believer of challenges.

Sunbathing in Mallorca never goes out of style, so when my friends casually suggested going to Spain for vacation, I couldn’t say no, especially that I could use an electric wheelchair there. Mallorca is one of these little paradises, that you never get bored of. The problem is that it’s very sandy, and sand has never been a great friend of manual or electric wheelchairs.
